She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel Vazquez and Manuela Bustamante; her son Jose; her grandson Aquiles Gonzales; and her husband Concepcion Armendariz (Chon).

She is survived by: her children, Luis Aranda (Lucy Aranda), Elvia Sandate (Martin Sandate), Concepcion Armendariz Jr. and Angel Manuel Armendariz. She is also survived by her family that included grandchildren, great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
