He was predeceased by: his parents, Potsie Smith and Bessie Smith (Slama); and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Smith; his daughters, Cynthia Huggins (Timothy) and Karen Othon (Charles); his grandchildren, Kathryn Whittington (Blake), Amanda Nelson (Kyle), Christopher Huggins, Daniel Othon and Alexis Othon; his great grandchildren, Luke Huggins, Julianne Whittington and Miles Whittington; and his nieces, Deborah Newsome and Rhonda Smith. He is also survived by nephew Edward Camp; and numerous cousins.
