She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Gallego and Amelia Gallego; her husband Abelardo Leyva; and her siblings, Ben Gallego, Jr. and Lorisa Gallego.
She is survived by: her sons, Abelardo "Ito" Leyva, Jr. (Corina) and Orlando Leyva (Baudelia); her grandchildren, Isela Garcia (Jason), Cesar Leyva (Stephanie) and Orlando R. Leyva; her great grandchildren, Issa and Vincent Garcia; and her siblings, Ruben, Jimmy, B. J. Gallego, Irene Espinoza and Berta Celaya.
