With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Thomas Poindexter in Alpine, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Poindexter and Mary Poindexter; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Poindexter; his daughters, Jill Wise (Franklin) and D. Lynn Poindexter-Turk (Gregory); his grandchildren, Danielle Sliger, Hannah Olson, Arielle Zahir and Lucas Turk; and his great grandchild Audrianna Sliger.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Donald Poindexter may be made to either Redeemer Lutheran Church or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
