He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Jean Koehl; his daughter Janet Koehl; his parents, Rudolph Koehl and Anastasia Koehl; and his sister Ruby Mae Litzmann.
He is survived by: his former wife Verna Jean Neuendorff; his son Kenneth Koehl (Nancy) of Alleyton, TX; his grandchildren, Jacob, Erin and Caitlin Koehl; his daughter Anne Wessels (Doug) of Columbus, TX; his grandchildren, Clayton Wessels (Codi) and Casey Schindler (Garrett); his daughter Christine McBride (Judd) of Evergreen, CO; his grandchildren, Claire and Charley; and his great grandchildren, Cade, Annie Wessels, Brooks and Nash Schindler.
