With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Wayne Alley Sr. of Alleyton, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Wayne Alley and Mary Laura Cook Alley; and his siblings, Elizabeth Schnider, Bonnie Alley, Joe "Buddy" Alley, David and Daniel Alley.
He is survived by: his son John Alley Jr. John (Tressa) of Altair; his wife Sharon Alley of Alleyton; his children, Stacy Cardenas (David) of Alleyton and Wendy Mladenka (Patrick) of Weimar; and his siblings, Elnora Matura (Daniel) of Eagle Lake, Gladys Moore of Columbus, Josie Blount of New Braunfels, Billie Jean Guthmann (Marcus) of Alleyton, Gary Alley of Eagle Lake, Michael Alley of Columbus and Connie Alley of Schulenburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
