He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex William Wied and Leona Wied (Coufal); and his brothers, Jay Wied, Perry Wied and Larry Wied.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Wied; his daughter Suzanne Marie Wied of Fulshear; his brother John William Wied (Joyce) of La Grange; and his grandchildren, Elsie and Lucas Korczynski.
