He is survived by: his parents, William Sr. Butterfield and Martha Butterfield of Mason City, IA; his sons, Kyle and Joel (Janet Jennings) of California; his siblings, Monte Butterfield, Bonnie Story and Kim Pepping; and his granddaughters, Daisy and Cora Butterfield.
