She was predeceased by: her husband Larry C. Bates; her parents, Ben Philips and Gussie Philips; and her siblings, Sandra Anderson and Monty Philips.
She is survived by: her son Brad Bates of McKinney, Texas; her granddaughters, Emily Bates of College Station, Texas and Kendall Bates of College Station, Texas; and her sister Stephanie Talbot (Bob) of Duncanville, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
