He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Perkins and Minnie May Mayo Perkins; his sisters, Frances "Sue" Franovich and Delores "Jeanie" Cotnam; and his wives, Frieda Heid Perkins and Caroline "Carrie" De Los Santos.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Torres (Christopher) of Van Alstyne and Ryan Allan (Monica) of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Brandon, Tristan and Allie; and his siblings, Allene Warden of Baird, Alice Baker of Dallas, Linda Berry (Rick) of Terrell, Larry Perkins (Grace) of Benton, AR, A. B. Perkins of Onalaska, WI and James "Rusty" Perkins (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
