He was predeceased by: his parents, J. M. Bowman and Jean Humphries. He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Powell; his wife Benda Bowman of Lucas, Texas; his children, Brian Bowman, Emily Bowman, Lisa Priest and Stephanie Grudzieski; and his brother Mike Bowman. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
