He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kovach and Ellen Spence Kovach; his stepmother Ann Egger Kovach; and his sister Diane Kovach Sartori. He is survived by: his wife June Elizabeth Walsh; his siblings, Mary Ann Kershisnik of Centerville, Lynn Christensen of Centerville, Michael Kovach of Littlefield and Joseph Knute Kovach of Sante Fe; his children, Colleen Kovach Broersma, Jon Christian Kovach, Christopher Allen Kovach and Robert Spencer Kovach of Frisco; his grandchildren, Travis Broersma of Golden, Rachel Broersma Roy of Huntington Beach, Holly Kovach Andrews of Woods Cross, Jon Christian Kovach, Jr. of Midway, Garrett Kovach of Cary, Kadie Kovach of Midland, Jacob Kovach of Provo and Taylor Kovach of Frisco; and his great grandchildren, Jayce, Brayden Andrews of Woods Cross and Harold Broersma of Golden, Colorado.
