It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Marie Girsch of Allen, Texas, who passed away on September 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Anthony Girsch and Althea A. Girsch; her daughter Carol Ann Kelley; and her sisters, Althea Soltis and Megan McCadden.

She is survived by: her children, David Merica of Melissa, TX, Larry Merica of Richardson, TX and Sandra Jeanne DeWeese of Carrollton, TX; her grandchildren, Lauren Merica, Christy Contreras, Bryan Merica, Carl Merica and Casey DeWeese; her great grandchildren, Deliah, Aidan, Carl Jr. and Christian; and her sisters, JoAnne Kozik of Lawton, OK and Georgeanne Van of Lowell, IN.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the AMA Food Pantry or Catholic Charities.
