She is survived by: her husband John Wakefield of Allen, Texas; her son Steven Roberts of Florida; her stepchildren, Nathan Wakefield and Miranda Wakefield of Fort Worth, Texas; her granddaughter Natalie Wakefield; her brother James Covey of Dallas, Texas; her sister-in-law Kim Covey of League City, Texas; and her mother Joyce Covey of Dallas. She is also survived by four nephews; one niece.
