He is survived by: his mother Cecilia Kornegay, Jr. (Bonilla); his former spouse Laurie McDavid; his wife Christine Beseda (Chris); his sons, Ryan Kornegay of Addison and Anthony Kornegay of Dallas; his sister Diane Bounds (Brian) of Friendswood, Texas; and his father Jim. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Allen, in memory of Jim Kornegay.
