It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. McKay (Allen, Texas), who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie "Max" Winters McKay and Martha Irene McKay (Stephens); and his son Matthew McKay. He is survived by: his wife Fay McKay of Allen, Texas; his children, Shelly Dye (Ross) of Fairview, Tennessee and Joel McKay (Angela) of Celina, Texas; his grandchildren, Coal Dye (Claire) of Nashville, Claire Dye, Anna Grace Dye of Fairview, Azura Hardin of Brooklyn, Aniyah Malone, Coy Malone of Celina, Savannah McKay of Houston and Sophie McKay of Nashville, Tennessee; his siblings, Cheri Wright (David) of Merriam, Kansas and Steve McKay of Olathe, Kansas; his child Beverly Stewart; his stepdaughters, Sharon Walton of McKinney and Jo Meyer of Tampa, Florida; and his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Walton of Aubrey, Rachel Walton of Plano, Noah Walton of McKinney, Darla Mahan of Enid and Robert Mahan of Tampa, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
