He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry J. Prescott and Katie Prescott (Woodall); his wife Elsie Mae Dunn; his children, Stephen, Paul, Gayle (Martin Anderson) and Sue (Harold White); his siblings, Christine, Norma and Donald; and his daughters-in-law, Roxie Prescott of Marshalltown, Iowa and Patricia Prescott. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
