He is survived by: his wife Rita Heath-Powell; his son Ronald Powell (Shari) of Chicago; his grandchildren, LaShaun Powell, Reynaldo Powell and D'Andre Powell; his great grandchildren, Morgan Conley, Torin Hall, William Johnson and Dominic Powell; his great great grandchildren, Jonathan and Dushawn Bradley; his siblings-in-law, Tommie Powell of Lynwood, Ardella Powell of Chicago, Illinois and John McGlothen (Charlotte) of Jackson, Mississippi; his nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Harvey, Emma Crosby, Stephanie Powell, Della Rose Powell, Vincent Powell, Lewis Powell, Larry Powell, Milton Harvey, Bud Powell and Thomas Crosby; and his cousin Tanya Poe (Clyde) of Jackson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
