He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Escobedo and Asuncion Martinez; and his brother Gabriel Escobedo, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Amparo Escobedo of McKinney, Texas; his daughters, Sonia Escobedo of McKinney, Nancy Gardner (Benjamin) of Hudsonville and Aileen Escobedo of McKinney, Texas; his grandchildren, Jasmine Escobedo, Hunter Gardner, Savannah Gardner, Logan Gardner and Ryker Gardner; and his brothers, Juan Escobedo (Janie), Rey Escobedo (Carmen), Javier Escobedo (Guillermina) and Raul Escobedo (Geno).
