He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Suzette Holmes of Allen; his son Edward Holmes IV; his wife Katherine Holmes of Flower Mound; his daughters, Cari Lane Gray of Grapevine, Tasha Alderson of Blue Ridge and Julie Telatnyk (Michael Waechter) of Allen; his siblings, Fred Holmes (Donna) and Ann Taylor (Jet); his grandchildren, Lucas Alderson, Peyton Gray, Lauren Holmes, Christopher Holmes, Haley Gray, Hannah Gray, Taylor Nicole and Mason Miller; his nephews, Michael Holmes (Kelsey) and Jim Taylor (Lori); his niece Alise Taylor; and also Robert Ryan Todd Holmes (Sonja Holmes) of San Diego, CA.
