He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon William Arno Kleppe and Betty Bertha Marie Kleppe (Horstmann); his wife Nelva Jeanne Kleppe (Nelms); and his siblings, Eileen Biddle and Gene Kleppe.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Karen Kleppe Graham (Jim) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Delbert Kleppe, Jr. (Heather) of Allen, Texas; his grandchildren, Taylor Graham (Adriana) of Jonesboro, Reese Graham of Jonesboro, Tanner Kleppe of McKinney, Raegan Kleppe of McPherson, Austin Paul of Allen, Texas, Bailey Paul of Allen, Texas and Colton Colvard of Allen, Texas; and his sisters, Carole Hadfield (Bill) of Bellevue and Linda Davis (Mark) of Wheatland, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
