He is survived by: his wife Carole Tatum; and his children, Randall Craig Tatum, Charles Thomas Tatum, Jr., William Richardson Tatum, Jefferson Perry Tatum and Judith Carole Newcomb. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
