She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey DeBoer and Mary DeBoer; and her son Patrick McGowan. She is survived by: her brother Edward DeBoer; her children, Kathy, Joe Christman, Kevin, Teresa McGowan, Sheila and David Swearingen; and her grandchildren, Shelly McGowan, Tim Christman, Tricia Phillips, Laura Jahnke, Kevin Christman, Sean McGowan, Michael Swearingen, Mark Swearingen and Jack Swearingen. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
