He is survived by: his wife Chuntay Smith; his children, Lamont Smith (Kim) of San Diego, California and Kasundra Wilkes of Little Elm, Texas; his grandchildren, Marcus Williams, Markaela Williams, Payton Smith and Olivia Smith; his siblings, Peggy Cooper, Vickie Watson of Grand Prairie, Rose Scott of Carrollton, Mary Suber (Phil) of Frisco, Billie Ruth Williams of Dallas, Marlin Smith of Ft. Worth and Curtis Smith of Raeford; his mother-in-law Frances Simmons; and his close friend Norma Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
