With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Lamar Koenning (Alice, Texas), who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Selma Fuhrken Koenning and Anton Koenning; and his siblings, Gene Koenning, Donald "Doc" Koenning, Allan Koenning and Lois Koenning.
He is survived by: his sisters, Welma Grimes (RV), Junell Austin, Delora "Chipper" Unterbrink (Richard) and Gaye Jospeh (Aaron); his nieces and nephews, Richard Koenning (Shelley), Kevin Koenning (Rhonda), Robert Pearson (Krystyn), Ken Pearson (Abbey), Stacie Scott, Shana Johnson, Wendy Wormser (Jeff), Denise Koenning Blanchard and Sophie Joseph; his sons, Kelly Ray Koenning (Rachel), Samuel Ray Koenning, Gavin Ray Koenning and Tony Arellano; his grandchildren, Kaley Lucille Lopez (Augie), Ray Koenning (Virginia) of Kansas, Max Arellano and Ronin Olvera; his great grandchildren, Keelyn Lucille Lopez, Kamryn Ray Lopez, Kylee Ann Lopez, Kallen Augustine Lopez, Kanyon Ray Koenning, Chelsea Peterson and Candace Peterson; and also Audi Olvera.
