She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Adams, Jr. and Vivian Turner; and her nephew Bernard "Bubba" Adams, IV. She is survived by: her brother Bernard Adams, III; her sister-in-law Connie; her great-nephew Brandon Alaniz; her sister Joy Custer; her nephew Allen Custer (Michelle); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Joe, Holden and Chandler Custer; her children, Felicia, Nic, Maggie and Jenna; her niece Ronda Garcia (EJ); and also, Kami Alaniz, Shelbi Bryant (Ron), Bentley and Braxton.
