Manuela Lopez Salinas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, at the age of 85, Manuela Lopez Salinas of Alice, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gonzalo M. Salinas Sr.; her parents, Luis Sr. Salinas and Eusebia Salinas; her daughters, Sylvia Ann Lopez and Rosalinda S. Segura; her grandsons, Michael Lee Salinas and Mitchel Gonzalez; and her siblings, Jesse Lopez, Beto Lopez, Samuel Lopez, Raul Lopez, Julia Lopez, Consuelo Benavidez, Martha Lopez and Mickey Mercado.
She is survived by: her children, Guadalupe Villarreal (Ruben), Maria Soliz (Claudio), Judith Gonzalez (Rene), Gonzalo Salinas Jr. (Esperanza) and Mike Salinas (Clarita); and her sisters, Pauline Castillo (Luis) and Frances Villarreal (Joe). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home-Alice (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1010 Beam Station Rd, Alice, TX 78332). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Roberson - Collins Cemetery.
