He is survived by: his children, Mark Duplantis (Consuelo) of Alice, Texas, Laurie Halsey (Tom) of Beeville and Linda Barnhart of Alice, Texas; and his siblings, Jimmy Duplantis (Margie) of Houma, Charles Duplantis of Louisiana, Carolyn Brunet of Houma and Janet Pelligran (Willie) of Houma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
