He was predeceased by: his parents, Jorge Aguayo and Diana Aguayo Sr.; and his grandparents, Federico and Eloisa Garza. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garza; his children, Maria Elena Garza, Ruby Ann Garza, Jesse Garza Jr. and Julian Garza (Kendra); his siblings, JoAnn Vera (Noe), Jorge Aguayo Jr., Georgette Aguayo, Nilda Mejia (Benito) and Joe Aguayo (Tammy); his mother-in-law Maria Elena Sanchez (Luis); and his siblings-in-law, Ernesto Flores (Jessica), Hector Sanchez Jr., Anthony Sanchez (Marilyn), Betty Gonzalez (Eduardo) and Stephanie Benavides (Anselmo). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home-Alice (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1010 Beam Station Rd, Alice, TX 78332).
