The memory of Israel Manuel Luera Sr. (Alice, Texas), who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Consuelo Luera (Connie); and his son Jacob A. Luera. He is survived by: his sons, Israel Luera, Jr. (Dawn) and Carlos Luera; his daughter-in-law Audrey Luera; his grandchildren, Lorena Luera, Anthony Luera, Izabella Luera, Jonathan Luera, Israel Luera III, Dominic Luera and Adelina Luera; and his great grandchild Jacob Luera. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Treviño Funeral Home (3006 Niagara St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405). A prayer will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
