She was predeceased by: her mother Felma S. Garcia; her grandparents, Serapio Serna, Sr., Aurora Serna (Core), Manuel O. Garcia, Sr. and Guadalupe Garcia; and her uncles, Manuel "Kito" Garcia Jr., Mario R. Garcia and Rene Arredondo.

She is survived by: her father Ruben R. Garcia Sr.; her brothers, Ruben R. Garcia Jr. (Cecilia) and Ronaldo S. Garcia (Lauren); her aunts and uncles, Serapio Serna (Rosa Linda), Julian "Pee Wee" Serna (Rosario), Mario Serna (Nelda), Maria Arredondo, Romeo R. Garcia (Betty) and Dolores Fenters (Rick); and her nieces and nephews, Ruben III, Alya, Ryan, Margo and Remy.
