He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hank Hollan and Hallie Hollan; his wife Alice Wietstruck Steck; his daughter Kacie Abbott (Robert "Reid" Abbott); his grandchildren, Macayla Lynn and Robert "Wyatt"; his siblings, Dottie Guthmann (Gary), Darlene Lewis (Stuart), Danny Steck (Lisa), Dale Steck (Laura) and Donna Reynolds (Mike); his brothers-in-law, Gene Wietstruck (Carol) and Larry Wietstruck (Sandy); his children, Krystal Lynn Steck and Keith Wayne Steck; his parents, Dolly Steck and Dean Steck; and his grandparents, Marcus Steck, Norma Steck, Walter Teichmann and Anita Teichmann. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
