She was predeceased by: her parent Panfila Quinones; her husband Hazael Rodriguez Olivares; her father Herminio Quinones; and her siblings, Rosa Garcia (Sixto), Evangelina Gallegos (Carlos), Gilberto Quinones (Rosa), Ruberto Quinones and Frank Quinones (Rebecca).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melba Yvette Smithwick (Jerry) and Norma Yvonne Henderson (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jerry Smithwick Jr. (Maria), Kelly Smithwick Blaskowsky (Keith), Cristian Olivares, Melanie Rodriguez (Pawel Bielecki), Michael Herrera (Shawnna) and Amy Herrera (Nixon). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home-Alice (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church- Alice (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Roselawn Cemetery (206 E Main St, Alice, TX 78332).
