He is survived by: his children, Joyce Rotge, Janet Williams, Chester Compton Jr. (Derinda), Helen Buendel (Clarence), Flora Berry (Chris) and John Compton (Carrie); and his pet Tiller. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; extended family.
