She is survived by: her close friend Patrick Perez; her children, Anthony Govea, Jay Govea, Jr. and Clarissa Gamez; her mother San Juanita Gamez; her siblings, Juan Manuel Gamez, Jr., Juan Octavio Sanchez, Joe Gamez, Javier Gamez, Jaime Gamez (Monica), Marivel Gamez (Jesus Garza) and Juanita Luz Gamez; and her grandson Jacoby Gamez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
