With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Belia Ortiz Pena in Alice, Texas, born in San Diego, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blas Ortiz and Elodia Ortiz Sr.; her sister Berta Zarate; and her brother-in-law Arturo Grande Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Jean Garza of Alice and Lydia P. DeLeon (Gilbert) of Alice, Texas; her siblings, Blas Ortiz Jr. (South), Natividad Ortiz of Houston, Texas and Beatriz O. Grande of Freer, Texas; her granddaughters, Alyssa Reynolds (Brandon) and Gabriella N. Chapa; and her great grandchild William M. Reynolds of Alice. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
