It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aracelia H. Benavides (Alice, Texas), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Felipe N. Hinojosa and Guadalupe C. Hinojosa; and her siblings, Tomas Hinojosa (Consuelo), Marcos Hinojosa and Angelina Hinojosa.

She is survived by: her husband Ruben M. Benavides, Sr.; her children, Ruben Benavides, Jr. (Priscilla), Ricardo Benavides (Marisa) and Nancy Treviño (Jerry); her grandchildren, Daniel (Kristina), Marcos, Ryan, Natalie and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Noah and Sofia; and her brother Sergio Hinojosa (Gloria). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Corpus Christi Cathedral or St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church.
