It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna R. Gonzalez (Alice, Texas), who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Rosales and Beatriz Hinojosa; her former husband Mateo Gomez Jr.; and her husband Victor M. Gonzalez. She is survived by: her children, Irene Franco (George) of Alice, Israel Gomez (Noemi) of Ben Bolt, Mateo "Cat" Gomez III (Annette) of Mathis, Albert Gomez (Debra) of McAllen, Beatrice "Bea" Campbell (Darryll) of Alice and Elsa Escamilla (Louis Edwin) of Corpus Christi; her siblings, Diego Rosales of Austin, Benjamin Rosales Jr. of Austin, Esther Rosales of Austin, Rosa Olivares of Skidmore and Numerous of Texas; and her nieces and nephews, Pallbearers, Israel F. Gomez, Albert D. Gomez, Jose "Trae" Rubio, Benjamin C. Gomez, Nick Yarbarough, Erick Franco, David Jason Franco and Logan Benavides. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
