She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Charles and Vicenta Charles; her husband Erasmo Aguilar; her son Johnny Charles; her brothers, Arcadio "Cano" Charles (Maria), Servando Charles (Aida) and Roberto Charles; her siblings-in-law, Guadalupe and Sabas Aguilar; her son-in-law Nicolas G. Cantu; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Buentello, Richard Martinez, Alfredo Aguilar, Henry F. Uribe, Lorenza "Chacha" Hatch (Durwood), Delma Aguilar and Dalia Aguilar.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Buentello (Luciano Jr.), Adalinda Cantu, Arlene Aguilar and Anabel Aguilar (Janie); her siblings, Arturo Charles (Rebecca), Martin Charles (Noemi), Leonel Charles (Janie), Albesa Buentello, Senaida Cortez (Henry), Guadalupe Elizardo (Raul), Emma Charles, Diana Sandoval (Alonzo) and Elia Martinez; and her sisters-in-law, Beatriz Charles, Viola Arreguin, Georgia Uribe, Lupita Estrada (Gabriel Jr.) and Emma Botello Sr. (Deacon Armando). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
