With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Thomas Thompson Jr. of Algoa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson, and Minnie Thompson, Sr.; his son Gary Thompson; and his sisters, Dorothy MacQueen and Sarah McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thompson; his children, Patricia Thompson, William Thompson, III, Doug Thompson (Stephanie) and Angella Lewis Hampton; and his brother David Thompson (Jenny). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Bill's contributions to the company were significant, and he was known not only for his technical expertise but also for his mentorship and willingness to help others succeed.
