He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger Ruda and Leah Ruda (Maxwell); his wife Sandra Ruda; his son Robert Roy "Hatchet" Rollins; and his brother Gene Ruda.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosalin Hunter (Jeff) of Algoa and Becci Adams (John) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his sister Patricia Bass of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Megan Hunter, Marissah Stevens, Justin Stevens, Joshua Stevens and Rickie Stevens; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Stevens and Avery Nichol Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
