With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester L. Shirey of Aledo, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Shirey and Margaret Shirey; his brother Jerald Shirey; and his significant other Rose Shirey. He is survived by: his wife Rose Hackworth; his siblings, Barbara Bouldin, Ricky Shirey (Dianne) and Becky Graham (Rodney); and his children, Steve Shirey (Margaret), Mike Shirey (Lori), Cindy Williams (James) and Sandra Hackfield (Scott). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
