He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earnest Thouvenel and Christine Thouvenel; and his siblings, Adlois Parker, LaNel Shires and Darrell Thouvenel.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Thouvenel; his children, Kevin Thouvenel, Kelly Preston and Keitha Carter (Brad Carter); his grandchildren, Michelle Frame, Sarah Rompe, Riley Carter and Dallie Carter; and his sisters, Loreta Massie and Janel Thouvenel. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A burial was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Annetta Cemetery (2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, TX 76008).
