He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Hash (Hash) and Marjorie Hash (Chambers); his wife Ruth Ella; his son Stanley Hash; his sister Joyce Kimbrough; his grandson Justin McWhirter; his children, Meleda Blagg (Mike) of Albany, Karon Martinson (Mike) of Throckmorton, Sharon McWhirter (Ronnie) of Wingate, Texas and Chuck Hash (Krystal) of Breckenridge, Texas; his siblings, Jan Adams of Abilene, Harold Hash (Beth) of Breckenridge and John Hash of Albany; and his close friend Evelyn Feller. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations in Mr. Hash's honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
