She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Garlitz and Maudy May Brown Garlitz; and her siblings, Clarence, Eugene, Otto, Homer, Hazel, Viola, Willie Mae, Dorothy and Frances.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Shelton; her children, Larry (Sandra Shelton) of Albany and Judy (John Kazda) of Albany; her grandchildren, Keith (Kate Shelton) of Chesterfield, VA, Brian (Courtney Shelton) of Trophy Club, TX, Jeff Webb of Moran, TX, Justin Webb of Denton, TX and Kacey Horn (Chris) of Benton, AR; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Parker Shelton, Jackson, Shelby Kiker and Ella Webb; and also, Kay, Trae, Natalie Idom of Denton, TX, Ann Albin (Buddy), Christopher and Nick of Denton, TX..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shackelford County Library, The Senior Citizens Activity Center or the Kirk Ledbetter Cemetery Association and left at Morehart Mortuary.
