It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Watson (Albany, Texas), born in Cisco, Texas, who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Watson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Watson and Leona Watson; and his son Scott Watson. He is survived by: his children, Cheryne Elliott (Jay) and John Robert Watson II (Kerry); and his grandchildren, Blair Watson, Ben and Drew Collie.
Subsequently, he attended 72 TX-OU football games, missing only due to the Army and COVID.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of John Watson can be made to the John C. and Ruth Stevens Endowed Scholarship at Abilene Christian University.
