With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harold Cox of Albany, Texas, born in Pottsville, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cox and Alice McPherson Cox; his son Mel Cox; his siblings, Bill, Charles Cox and Patsy Shields; and his son-in-law Kenneth Stroud.
He is survived by: his wife Cleta Joy Cox; his daughters, Carol Stroud, Lisa Palmore (Randall) and Jana Palmore (Lynn); and his siblings, Peggie Penn, Lola Carr and Gary Cox. He is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes or to Friendship Baptist Church.
