She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin John Schkade and Louise Emma Sohns Schkade; her husband James F. Tankersley; her siblings, Bennie Schkade, Oscar Schkade, Clarence Schkade, Richard Schkade, Fluorine Schkade Jeter and Ella Schkade Welch; and her daughter Melba Tankersley Graham.
She is survived by: her son James Tankersley (Glenda); her siblings, Hildegard Schkade Wright, Violet Schkade and William Schkade; her granddaughters, Amy Balliew Jones and Sara Tankersley; and her great grandchildren, Jessica Jones Demetruk and Wade Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
