She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jack and Ella Mae Robbins Damron. She is survived by: her husband David Hammond of Alba; her daughters, Tammy Cooley of Cedar Hill and Jennifer Anderson (Chad) of Weatherford; her siblings, R. D. Damron of Tolar, Weldon Damron of Streetman, Doyle Damron (Lorna) of North Carolina and Virginia Hammond of North Dakota; her grandchildren, Camryn Anderson and Jacob Anderson; and her pet Karli. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
