With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theo Josephine Phillips of Alba, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Calvin and Amanda Minerva Hyatte Walls; her husband James Phillips; her son Harold Phillips; and her siblings, James Walls, Jerry Walls, Cleo Walls, Billy Walls, Oueita Townson and Bonny Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Phillips (Midge) of Alba, Jimmy Phillips (Beverly) of Alba, Curtis Phillips (Betty) of Greenville, Larry Phillips of Alba, Lela Jo Sherrin (Thomas) of Rowlett, Joy Slay (Jimmy) of Forney, Debbie Phillips of Alba and Sherry Larsen (Edward) of Lake Fork; and her brother Pete Walls (Anna) of France. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home (300 Holley St, Alba, TX 75410). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church (7405 Hwy 69 East, Alba, TX 75410).
